Matthew J. Sabo, DPM FACFAS

saboMatthew J. Sabo, DPM FACFAS created The Foot and Ankle Wellness Center of Western Pennsylvania in 2007 to serve the Armstrong, Butler and surrounding counties with all their foot and ankle needs.  Dr. Sabo earned his Bachelor of Science degree at East Stroudsburg University in pre-medicine in 1997, graduating in an accelerated pre-medicine program.  He continued his education at Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine where he earned his medical degree in 2000.  While at Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine, Dr. Sabo received an award for academic excellence.  He then went on to complete a forefoot and rearfoot reconstructive surgical residency program at Saint Agnes Medical Center in Philadelphia.

Dr. Sabo has served as a delegate and vice president of the Pennsylvania Podiatric Medical Association Erie Northwest division.  He has spoken at numerous conferences and has contributed chapters to the Hershey Board Certification Review manual as well as articles in podiatric medical journals.  He currently serves as the associate director of research at The Snyder Institute of Armstrong County Memorial Hospital. Dr. Sabo currently serves as a Clinical Associate Professor at Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine.

Dr. Sabo has been serving the Armstrong, Butler and surrounding counties since 2002.  He is Board Certified in podiatric surgery, a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, a Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and member of the American Podiatric Medical Association.

Sandra L. Kapp, RN CWCN CFCN

sandraSandra Kapp, RN CWCN CFCN has been a Registered Nurse since 1990. She is a graduate of Citizen's General Hospital, School of Nursing. She started her nursing career at ACMH as a staff nurse, and has continued her nursing experience in home care for the past 18 years. To better serve her patients she became certified in wound care in 2000 and continues to maintain this certification. She recently added to her ability to care for her patients by becoming certified in Foot and Nail care. Sandi is also the liaison for the Armstrong County branch of The United Ostomy Association of America. She continues to be involved in home care as a clinical wound care consultant, and a CWCN for a local wound care center.

Wendy Schultz, LPN

weWendy Schultz, LPN joined The Foot and Ankle Wellness Center of Western Pennsylvania in 2008. Mrs. Schultz earned her LPN degree at Lenape School of Practical Nursing of Ford City. She Graduated second in her class and has been a licensed practical nurse for over 13 years.
Mrs. Schultz has over 7 years of experience as a wound care coordinator for a 120 bed facility in Kittanning Pennsylvania. She has extensive knowledge and experience in wound care management and is board qualified to become a certified hyperbaric technician.
